(Vacation on Tybee Island)
Too many times we sit around wishing we had things that we don't. We should take some time sit back and be thankful for what we do have. I'm sure in a lot of cases things could be much worse for us. I'm not saying to stop trying to improve or your situation, but don't let it stress you out. Work hard, relax even harder and spend some time with your family and friends. When things get really down and out those are going to be the people that stick with you no matter how bad you are doing. When you think about, it in the end, we can't take anything with us when we pass on.I met a homeless guy once and I spoke with him. We had an interesting conversation about how hard his life was and how he ended up homeless. But he told me this, "Life is life" and he wasn't going to worry about how he became homeless because worrying about the past wasn't going to help him get back on his feet. He was looking to the future when he could finally get off the streets and back to living a decent, comfortable life. So when things are said and done and can't be changed just say to yourself "Life is life" and keep on pushing till you get it right.
Oh yeah... Happy Belated New Years!
